Dark Roast

While I try to cater to the tastes of all my customers, like anyone else I do have a preference. I like my coffee like my movie villains – very dark. This dark roast coffee is well-executed, full of cocoa, dark cherry, and a hint of smoke. A wonderful coffee with milk and sugar if that’s your thing, but why? Straight black is the best way to enjoy this coffee. Never bitter, and always smooth.

This dark roast coffee is sourced from the westernmost Indonesian island of Sumatra. Coffee beans from this region have a bluish color at the green bean stage owing to the lack of iron in the soil. Coffees from Sumatra are known for a smooth, sweet body that is intense and balanced.
